Introducing the Joyful Movement at Last! Program

You may even be saying unkind things to yourself about this that make you feel shameful. You may also be frustrated because you you have come so far in rewriting your relationship with food but despite that, you still have not found your way back to movement yet. Can you relate?

For many ex-dieters, exercise resistance goes a lot deeper than what appears on the surface. Years of exercising to look a certain way, lose or maintain weight, "make up" for foods eaten, etc. has left many feeling traumatized when they even think about movement.

Like all things diet culture, movement takes on a one size fits all approach with rigid rules that are difficult to maintain and do not often take into account individual needs or desires.

Because exercise had been used as a way to control the way the body looks, engaging in movement for any other reason is often difficult for many intuitive eaters to embrace because when they start moving again, they start to slide back into diet mentality again. If any of this describes you, know that you are not alone!
